Authentication
During login, an additional menu item appears, directing your users straight to the desired OpenID authentication server, which centrally manages their identities. Upon successful authentication and authorization, users are seamlessly redirected back to CNT Call Manager and are ready to go. This ensures a login process that is secure, flexible, and user-friendly.

CNT Call Manager enables seamless login through external authentication servers by storing the primary login name as a login attribute in CNT Call Manager.
Optional additional login data can be stored in CNT Call Manager to provide maximum flexibility in authentication. This enables you to choose whether to continue supporting multi-factor authentication using a CNT Call Manager-specific username and password.
With two-factor authentication (2FA), you can maximize the protection of user accounts and data. CNT Call Manager offers an integrated multi-factor authentication feature that can be optionally activated and used alongside OpenID to provide enhanced security.
Once OpenID is connected, this authentication method is available to every user as a standard function.
Microsoft Entra ID
Entra ID is the central authentication and access management solution for various Microsoft services such as Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, or Microsoft Azure. Microsoft Cloud customers are thus automatically users of Entra ID. In addition to supporting standard Microsoft applications, Entra ID allows the integration of custom applications, providing comprehensive single sign-on functionality.

The initial authentication can optionally be performed using the user's email address, which CNT Call Manager automatically replaces with Entra ID. This feature facilitates quick and seamless access, integrating users directly into the central authentication and access management system. As a result, you gain the advantages of a smooth single sign-on solution that enhances security and efficiency while streamlining user management.
Provisioning
The initial provisioning of users and end devices in CNT Call Manager is simple and efficient: Administrators can assign specific roles, permissions, and various configurations. Powerful import functions and bulk operations allow for quick and smooth setup. Subsequently, authentication based on OpenID is available, providing high security, user-friendliness, and seamless integration into existing systems.
