The integration of address books from Microsoft Outlook provides users with an efficient way to access existing contacts in the CM app.

The prerequisite is that the addresses are available locally and that the 64-bit version of Microsoft Outlook is installed. The integration considers all contacts with an email address and ensures that relevant information is always available to the user.

With the integration of address books from Microsoft Outlook 365, users gain easy access to centrally stored, cloud-based contacts.

The prerequisite is that the address books are available in the cloud. This keeps all important contact information accessible and ensures efficient communication.

macOS Contacts

The CNT Call Manager enables seamless integration of contacts from the Apple operating system.

Users have direct access to entries stored in the Contacts app and can search them and initiate calls directly from the CM app. This ensures uncomplicated and efficient communication, as all important contact data is always available.

Automatable Imports

The integration of contacts into the CNT Call Manager can be flexibly designed through automatable imports and differs between client-side and server-side imports.

The CM app allows client-side import of contacts from supported sources such as Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Outlook 365, and macOS Contacts. This gives users direct access to their existing contact information.

A special advantage is the reverse search: callers are automatically identified by their phone number, so relevant contact information is displayed immediately – ideal for efficient communication and quick responses.

In Microsoft Outlook, these imports are prerequisites for searching and reverse resolution in contacts, while in Microsoft Office 365, they are only needed for reverse resolution.

Imports are stored locally with strong encryption to ensure the highest security standards.

The CNT Call Manager offers automated, server-side imports for CSV and vCard files that are centrally managed and made available to all users. Customizable scripts can also access address books from third-party systems. A common use case is a regular, automated process that seamlessly imports changes and new contacts from CSV or vCard files. This keeps contact information consistently up-to-date and fully accessible, significantly improving the efficiency and reliability of communication.
